As well as producing collages started at my Croydon Life Drawing Group, I’ve been toying with the idea of landscape collage but realised that cutting out and sticking down little bits of papers isn't really suit to working en plein air.

So I put the idea on one side until last week when I was leaving my studio and saw the Shard against a sky that was dark with rain. A quick photo on my phone which I used as the basis for both the paper collage and the drawing when I got home and from them I produced this collage.
