I've had a good week of painting - I managed to work on my paintings every day last week. (And isn't that the thing about doing something you like - you're pleased to manage to do it every day.) Unfortunately the photos I took yesterday were dire - but here are two details of where I'd got by the middle of the week. Both are angled views. I've only just started using a paint brush on the one of Gerry and Keira (above). The one of myself and Gerry (below) is a bit further on - I'm getting to the point where I can stop worrying about building up the surface and concentrate on the colours and tones.
